Cortez
Cortez is a reluctant member of the government he was born into. His father a high member of the Cuban Communist party became great friends with Ivan Volkov. Cortez joined the Cuban military to honor his father but his heart was never in it. Eventually becoming an upper level intelligence agent he became even more discontent. His father seeing this and worried about him asked Ivan Volkov to watch over him and take him with him to America in hopes of reinvigorating his spirit. Blinded by his feelings for Annie he doesn’t see how she listens in on his conversations and looks through his documents.
