Taking Donations

We are in need of a way to get our media off of the camera and into our computers without wearing out our camera.  So looking around we found the most affordable way was to use the Sony GV-HD700.  We can’t actually afford that though.  So we need a few dollars to get there, we need about 850 of them actually.  We started our online store to help us get the money but with our profit margin it might be a while before we get what we need.  So desperate times call for begging.

So, do you want to feel good about helping out some New Orleans artists?  If so throw some cash our way.  Click the donate button below and give what you can.

Yes, we’re poor.  Yes, we have no shame.  Help us.

Just click the donate button on the side bar ————>
Should be to your right some where.

Dread Man

This photo has nothing to do with the movie, although I really wish it did.

After shooting most of the day we had to go through the French Quarter.  It so happens that the Satchmo Festival was going on at the time.  So traffic was a little rough and people were all over the place.  This is one of the people I saw.  I can’t imagine the dedication and commitment that this must take.  I was very impressed.

So that said it was a good weekend of shooting.  Lorin got his lines right and I was very proud of him.  The weather was nice and the lighting was good.  A little noisy but I guess we’re going to find a way to make that work.  Will did a great job playing Joe, and Sean did his normal great job, although he didn’t kick the rock everytime.

We got some music done as well this weekend, or Mike did.  I really like what we have and when Jonathan heard it he discribed it as simply “badass”.  Some others need to hear it as well but I really dig it.  That’s all for now.
